There are lots of ways to form a partnership with Tate & Lyle through Open Innovation. In fact, every collaboration is different – but yours could start here by submitting a proposal through these pages.
New ingredients and technologies... start here
We take every approach seriously, and each submission is reviewed by our Open Innovation team, who will respond quickly to let you know whether we see the potential for partnership at this stage. And if we don’t think we’ll make a good fit on this project, we won’t keep you hanging on – we guarantee that we’ll follow up your submission within six weeks.
Once we’ve started talking about a viable idea, we can discuss the type of partnership that best suits us both. It may be that you are looking for a joint development project, sales and marketing expertise, a licensing agreement, or a combination of all these. Or you may be interested in talking to our venture capital arm, Tate & Lyle Ventures – in which case we will put you in touch with them.
To protect your intellectual property, and to protect ourselves, you will be asked to accept our terms and conditions before you can submit your project outline. Once you have done that, you’ll be directed to an online form, which lets you tell us who you are, what your opportunity is, and what plans you have for it. We hope you’ll find the process straightforward – and that it marks the start of a long partnership.
